Good morning everyone!
We hope you’re staying safe and warm today. We want to let all of our Friday (Black Forest) customers know that due to snow fall accumulation and projected wind speeds, today Friday January 9th, we are keep our guys home safe today and will not be running routes.
Our biggest concern with today’s weather forecast is wind speeds. With the amount of snow we have already received mixed with 35+mph wind gust, visibility and drifting are big concerns for us.
We will be back to get double trash for everyone next Friday. We do apologize for the inconvenience. If you have any questions or concerns please let us know. Thank you for your patience and understanding! Stay safe and stay warm today!

Adding to our driver family
Iron Knight Disposal will be adding a CDL driver to our family with an anticipated start date of mid-February. We would love to fill this position locally!

Pay: $24-$28 DOE
Job Type: Full Time
Requirements:
Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) – Minimum Class B
Preferred 2 year driving experience – willing to discuss if otherwise.
Clean driving record (MVR) and no moving violations or DUI’s.
Garbage truck operation knowledge preferred, but not necessary.
Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
Basic Job Description
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (tires, brakes, lights, etc.).
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Must be able to continuously get in and out of the truck
Complete daily routes and maintain accurate logs and trip reports.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers.
Report mechanical issues and accidents promptly.
Perform basic truck maintenance as needed.
